Caroling, Caroling.....

It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold;
“Peace on the earth, good will to men,
From Heaven’s all gracious King.”
The world in solemn stillness lay,
To hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come
With peaceful wings unfurled,
And still their heavenly music floats
O’er all the weary world;
Above its sad and lowly plains,
They bend on hovering wing,
And ever over its Babel sounds
The blessèd angels sing.
 And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow,
Look now! for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing.
O rest beside the weary road,
And hear the angels sing!

For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophet-bards foretold,
When with the ever circling years
Comes round the age of gold;
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world send back the song
Which now the angels sing.

 Angels from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o’er all the earth;
Ye who sang creation’s story
Now proclaim Messiah’s birth.
Come and worship, come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King.

Shepherds, in the field abiding,
Watching o’er your flocks by night,
God with us is now residing;
Yonder shines the infant light:

"Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos...

Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight...

They'll know that Santa is on his way
He's loading lots of toys and goodies in his sleigh
And every mother's child  is going to spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly...."

Frosty the Snowman
was a jolly happy Soul....
With a corncob pipe and button nose
And two eyes made out of coal.....
Thumpity, thump thump
Thumpity ,thump thump
Look at Frosty go..

Thumpity, thump thump,
Thumpity, thump thump,
Over the fields of snow....

Oh Christmas Tree,

O Christmas Tree,

Your branches green delight us!!

Rocking around the Christmas Tree
at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Ev'ry couple tries to stop

So, if you've been good yourself
You might see the happy elf
Stop by your house and make
You very happy...the Happy Elf, Harry Connick

We three Kings of Orient are

bearing gifts we travel afar.
Field and fountain, Moor and Mountain
Following yonder star.....

Star of Wonder, Star of Might

Star with Royal Beauty Bright...
Westward leading, Still proceeding
Guide us with thy Perfect Light

And ye will find the Babe, wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger....Luke 2:12
